I am a 48yo man, divorced many years ago, so.....single, average height/weight, fairly good looking rocker type. I have two kids and three grandkids, I live alone in a nice place, have my own vehicles, a good job, can cook and take care of a household so I'm stable and responsible. I'm creative and I make a decent living at it. My mind is always working something over, problem solving. I like to make things, build things, tinker. I can work on my own car, do my own oil changes and fix most basic stuff. I like wildlife and the mountains, cycling and hiking/exploring. I like movies and music and sometimes will get into who the writers and directors are and seek out other things they have done. I like to go out to a nearby pub and shoot pool or play darts and talk with people. I can sing and play guitar and might do something with that someday. I can be a nerd sometimes and have a knack for computers and machines. I'm just an average guy with a big heart and alot of time for someone who wants the same thing. A woman who sees their life going in the same direction as me. I want to travel and see things, go places and do things with someone who enjoys the same things as me. FIRST date? I simultaneously love and hate the first date. Thrill of meeting someone new and agony of trying to maintain composure. Later you get to be relaxed after you get to know someone. I like to meet on common ground so to speak. If there is common ground, one can be more at ease and be one's self. I would hope there would be some coffee involved or a friendly game of pool at a local pub for a drink. It's hard to say what would be the best thing to do or place to be or activity/conversation to engage in. Everyone is different. We seek each other out to have friendship and companionship. To feel a sense of connection to someone.....something. When you find the right person with similar interests and the smile that melts your heart, there is nothing better. I would want to talk and discover what the lady's interests are, give her some idea of who and what I am, what makes me tick, what makes her tick. I believe that you know pretty quick if there is a connection, but I will give anyone my time and attention.

Lots of things, but I am not usually one to go and do exciting things on my own. It's nice to have a partner in crime so to speak. I do the occasional "out of the comfort zone" for most people my age
